If your child needs medication while at school:
* It must be brought to me by a parent or guardian, not the child please.
* IF it is an over-the-counter medication, it must be in it's original, unopened container.
* IF it is a prescription medication, it must be labeled by the pharmacy with your child's name.
* IF it is an over-the-counter medication such as Tylenol or Motrin, it must be accompanied by a doctors note if the child needs to take it for longer than 2 weeks.
Reminder - Please keep your child home from school if they have a fever of 100 or more. They may return to school when they have not had fever for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication. This applies to vomiting as well. They may not return until vomiting has stopped for 24 hrs.
PLEASE SEE THE ARTICLE, "DON'T GET SIDELINED BY THE FLU", FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL NURSES

Your child MUST be up to date on ALL
immunizations for them to be able to
remain in school.
