My class is off to a very good start this school year.  We are getting into a good routine and working very hard.  We work on cursive handwriting every morning.  This year we have a Saxon Math book instead of the worksheets.  Most of the Math work is done in class, but if they don't finish the assignment they may take it home to finish.  Each student has a planner this year rather than an assignment sheet.  The planner is to be filled out every day and taken home to be checked.  Each assignment that is finished is to be checked off.  If it's not finished it is to be highlighted and if we don't do the assignment it is to be crossed off.  I am trying to get the students to follow this guideline so you will know what they need to work on at home.
