Welcome to First Grade. We will be working very hard this year. Reading is key and it is important that you read nightly to your child. Please make sure that they practice their high frequency words. Any questions, please call me at 955-6717.

 


FEBRUARY
Thank you so much for sending in all the school supplies and snacks.  If you would like to set up a conference, just call 955-6717 and leave me a message to call you. If anyone would like to donate Lysol, we could use that in our class. Don't forget to join PTA- $6.00.

** We are practicing rules, routines and procedures!!!

  •  Snacks are a must !!! Good snacks to send include pretzels, Goldfish, crackers, cheese cubes, carrot sticks and apple slices--- we have 20 students.
    Wear sneakers on Tuesday--- our PE day.

 

 Homework-  Students are expected to read or be read to approximately 20 minutes nightly.Each week they will have Spelling and Math homework. It will come home in Monday's BLUE Homework folder and is due on Thursday. We will not have homework on three day weeks. If there is no school on Friday, the spelling test will be on Thursday.
Tuesday Folder (green) - contains important school papers and should be returned on Wednesday.
