One Hundred Years from Now
(excerpt from "Within My Power" by Forest Witcraft)

One Hundred Years from now
It will not matter
what kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
how much money was in my bank account
nor what my clothes looked like.
But the world may be a better place because
I was important in the life of a child.

Welcome to my website! My name is Mrs. Lacey Gautreaux. I am an inclusion teacher in the seventh and eighth grade English classroom. This is my fifth year as a teacher and my first year at Houma Jr. High. I am certified in Mild/Moderate Education in grades 1-12, as well as Regular Education grades 1-8. I am highly qualified in Mild/Moderate Education grades 1-12 and Regular Education grades 1-5.  I am currently working toward my Master's degree in High Incidence Disabilities and Educational Diagnostician certification.
