2012-2013 Music Department Dates

Interested 4th Grade Students - to study a band instrument:
September 19th 2012 assembly 4th grades at Mary Bray 9am - 10am Rm 101, Instrument Demonstration during school time with Mrs. Egan and Mr. Coles from Coles Music. Rental forms to be given out that day.


September 19th, 2012 MARY BRAY BACK TO SCHOOL 4th grade parents instrument presentation room 101 Mary Bray approx 8pm, Ed Coles Music will be in attendance for rentals. You can bring check or credit card to initiate rental at that time or send rental agreement directly to Mr. Coles. Any 4th grade student is welcome into the instrumental program at Mary Bray. Mrs. Egan will be giving lessons at Mary Bray this year. We will have a Mary Bray Band beginning early in 2013 or sooner when students learn some notes. We welcome RWK parents if they would like to meet with Mr. Coles for their students' rentals and Mrs. Manion will be in attendance.

  Holiday Concert dress rehearsals are: 12/11, 12/12 during the daytime.

Weds, May 15, 2013 at 7:30 pm Spring Concert RWK. Both RWK Choruses. 
  Spring Concert dress rehearsals are: 5/14, 5/15 during the daytime.

Monday, May 27, 2013 Mount Ephraim Memorial Day Ceremonies in town, 8:45 gather, 9:00am begin ceremonies and march. Open to RWK chorus members. Details and permission slips will be sent home in April. Any RWK instrumentalist is welcome to sing also!

Mary Bray 4th Grade Instrumental Recital Friday, June 7, 2013 time 1:30pm in the Mary Bray GYM. Parents - save the date and time! Instrumentalists wear black and white.
  Dress Rehearsals TBA:
Weds June 5 periods 1-4 in music room
Friday June 7 am dress in gym, pm concert in gym 

Rule #1 for all performing ensembles and music classes NO GUM.

Attn: RWK Chorus Members
If you are involved in sports, dance classes, etc. tell your coaches now that you will need to miss class on concert night. This is YOUR responsibility. Most studios have make-up days. I have NEVER had the experience of a coach keeping a student from the concert. Coaches support school activities and will appreciate early notice.
