Well, students you have almost made it through an entire year of school. To my 8th graders I am going to miss you but I wish you lots of luck and happiness at the High School - just don't forget about me!
To my 6th and 7th graders, I look forward to working with you again next year.

Meet The Teacher

It is now time for another school year to begin, I hope that you all had a restful relaxing summer. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Franklinton Junior High School and to my class. I have an exciting and rigorous math filled year planned for each of you that will include many exciting activities. Now let me introduce myself to you.

My name is Ms. Stephanie Kennedy. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, his name is Delton Kennedy. He works in Nigeria, Africa for Frontier Drilling. We have two wonderful sons, Tyler and Dakota, and one daughter, Jana. I have been teaching for 19 years. This is my 8^th year at FJHS. I look forward to being your teacher this coming year at FJHS.

A note to the Parents/Guardians,

Math is a subject that causes fear and dread among students and parents. I hope to help alleviate much of the fear and dread that many students experience each year. Math is like many other apsects of life – in order to improve you must practice, practice, practice!!! Math is not a side line subject! Your child will have some type of math homework each night – please check his/her planner or you may check my webpage. I know that you and I want the same thing, the best possible education for your child. In order to achieve this we must work together. Remember: Parents are teachers too! I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your child throughout this school year. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.
