Louisiana History 
Welcome back!!!  

     My name is Leigh Ann Morel,  and I will be your Louisiana History teacher this year. I will also be teaching one American History for 7th grade, and Publications.  The 2010-2011 school year will be my eleventh year teaching and my seventh year at Franklinton Junior High. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, and currently, I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I am married to David, and we live in Stoney Point with our beautiful, three year old, twin daughters, Ashleigh and Annsleigh. I love football, reading and spending time with my family.  I have a deep love for history, and I hope to pass that love of learning on to you throughout the year.  I believe all students can  be successful, and it is my goal to help you to be a success.  I am looking forward to a great school year!
