I am thrilled to have your child in my room this year.  I am sure you will be amazed at the progress you will see your child make.  First grade is a year where much is accomplished.
     I have taught first, second, third, and fourth grades.  I began teaching in 1990, and have loved and learned through every moment of it.  I took off several years to stay at home with my three children when they were young.  They are now in the ninth, sixth, and fourth grades.
     I hope I am able to instill in your child a love for school and learning this year.
