Notes from the teacher
I hope everyone had a great winter break, snow day weekend, and another long weekend.  We've been in and out, so it has been hard to stay to our usual schedule.  We will need to be flexible during this time of year.
COLD WEATHER:
1.  Please send back the blue note sent home a couple of weeks ago concerning early dismissal especially if your situation has changed.  Regardless of what changes you may have made for daily transportation, in the event of early dismissal we MUST go by what is on your registration card unless we receive a change in writing from you.
2.  We will go outside unless it is wet and rainy or the temperatures are extremely cold.  Make sure your child has appropriate clothing including a coat.  They may have to miss recess if they are not dressed appropriately.

We have not had many graded papers until this week so red folders have not come home.  You should expect to see them this Wednesday containing the first grades of this grading period.

We have someone from the Hendersonville Humane Society coming on Tuesday afternoon to accept our donation as well as talk with the students about how their contribution will help.  They were amazed at the success of our community service project.  We raised nearly $500.  WAY TO GO!!!
