In 5th grade we are emphasizing Reading skills, higher Math reasoning, and a deeper knowledge of Science content.  This is all in preparation for the Spring FCAT!!  In Math we will be exploring fractions. In Science we will be studying different types of force and motion.    We are on our fifth Read Aloud novel called The Indian in the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks.  
 

Please know that our homework for the week always includes Vocabulary Study, AR reading, Spelling review, and Math facts and concepts review.
