Welcome to Music!

Each student at Folsom School participates in music once a week. In this class we explore the different elements of music, different genres/styles, as well as famous composers and performers. We do this through listening, singing, playing instruments, movement, and written assignments.

Piano Keyboards:
New to this year, students will have the opportunity to learn basic piano skills. Many thanks to the Board of Education for supplying us with a beautiful new keyboard lab! 


Supplies needed for 2010-2011 school year:

Grades 3 through 6 will need a pocket folder and pencil for music class.
Grades 7 and 8 will need a pocket folder, pencil, and one subject notebook for music class.

All Band members will need their instrument, folder, Accent on Achievement lesson book and a pencil for each lesson and rehearsal.
