THE EOGS ARE ON THEIR WAY!!!!!  MAKE SURE YOU ARE STUDYING EACH NIGHT AND GETTING YOUR STUDY LOG SIGNED!!!!!! 

MAY 10th - 13th - EOGs!!!!!!!!!!  Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before each test and eats a great breakfast.  They also MUST be at school on time!

Spring Concert - April 27th!!!!!!!  Students should arrive at school at 6:30!!!!!!

4th and 5th Grades - Week of April 26 - 30th!!!  No Spelling or Wordly Wise this week. 

Reading:  Both 4th and 5th Grades will spend the next two weeks reading sample selections and preparing for the End of Grade Tests in Math, Reading, and Science (5th Grade Only)!!!!!  Our focus this week will be on finding the Main Idea and Drawing Conclusions.  Next week we will focus on reviewing our understanding of Poetry and Sequencing.

 
Math:  Students will continue to review for the End of Grade Test this week.  4th and 5th Grades will begin this week reviewing Perimeter and Area of Irregular Figures and Perimeter and Area Word Problems.  Both grade levels will then review Fractions and Decimals.

Writing:  We are spending our Writing time reviewing Math Concepts for the End of Grade Tests.  Students in both grade levels will be reviewing Word Problems and Algebra during this time.

Social Studies:  Students will play a Review Main Idea game during Social Studies this week. 

Science:  4th Grade students are studying the Food Pyramid this week.  They will learn which foods to eat to be healthy.  5th Grade students are wrapping up their study of Landforms.  

Tests:  5th Grade Landform Test - Friday, April 30
            4th and 5th - Reading Stamina Quiz - Friday, April 30
            5th and 4th - Math Cumulative Review Quiz - Friday, April 30
