Welcome to my web page!

My name is Mr. Jim Daniels and I am a 7th Grade teacher at Oak View Middle School in Newberry, Florida. This is my 22 year in education but my first year at Oak View. 

Currently, I teach all 7th grade and the following courses: 
 

1. Math 2

2. Pre-Algebra (Math 2 Advanced)

3. Algebra 1-A (GEM 7th Algebra)

If you are an interested parent or a student of mine, you may find the "Homework and Events" calendar in the right column quite useful.    There are also links to the VERY helpful online textbooks and a page dedicated to any documents I use in class("Downloads").  Please remember that we are doing our best to approach a paperless classroom, so I plan to use the "Downloads" page more than the school copier.   If you ever need to contact me, please email danieljl1@gm.sbac.edu.   Enjoy the site and have a great year!
