Homework is posted daily on my website. Visit www.pohatcong.org , then click on the staff directory link, then click on Mrs. LaBar. This will bring you to my website where you can then access the daily homework. Homework will be given 3- 4 nights per week.

*Homework grades are compiled two ways:

1. Every student starts the marking period with a 100% homework average. For every homework assignment missed they lose 6 points from that total. If they hand it in late (1 day maximum) they will lose 3 points

2.  During the course of the marking period, I will assign problems that will be graded. These assignments will be between 5 and 20 problems and will be handed in the DAY THEY ARE DUE and graded.

Guidelines for class:

• Students are expected to come prepared to class every day. This means they have a pencil, their textbook, practice book, and binder. If I notice this becoming a problem, parents will be notified.
• All work MUST be done in pencil.
• Binders should remain organized with a section for note taking and homework. It is advised that all graded quizzes and test be kept to use a study guide for the final exam.
• Seek help when needed…don’t be afraid to ask questions.
• Show respect to the teacher and each other at all times.

Rewards – rewards for such things like homework completion, stellar grades, preparedness, good behavior, etc. will be given in the form of raffle tickets. Classroom raffles will be held at various times throughout the marking period to earn “fun” items. These include such items as homework passes, free extras from the cafeteria, etc.
