Welcome To Second Grade!

Second Grade is a great place to be!  It is a place for learning and fun.  We have a great team of teachers and we take pride in the way we run our program. 

In Second Grade, your child will have the opportunity to work with a variety of teachers so that we are sure to meet the needs of ALL children.  There are many opportunites that we work together as a whole second grade and there are times when we work with small groups to help with reinforcement or enrichment.  Mr. Gary and Mrs. Carey are part of our team. 

Mr. Gary and Mrs. Carey not only work with children needing reinforcement, but they will also be working with groups of children on enrichment activities.  Your child may work with any teacher for a short period or on a more consistent basis, depending on the needs of your child. 

The important thing to know is that all children receive instruction ON SECOND GRADE LEVEL.  After receiving that instruction, your child may get additional instruction including reinforcement or enrichment activities. 

We are very excited to be able to provide such individualized instruction for your child.  We know it may not be what you and your child are used to, but we are confident that you will see your child grow in a safe and unintimidating environment at a pace that is right for them!
