Welcome to First Grade!
I am very excited to be your child's First Grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year!
Homework: Homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday (no homework on Friday's ☺) in your child's take home folder and written in their Homework/Study Pad. Please check this daily.
Attendance: If your child will be absent from school, please e-mail us at [email protected], [email protected] or on Seesaw!
Grading Policy: First Grade uses a Standards Based Report Card for grading. Grades will be identified as follows:
ES = Exceeds Expectations (I know and can do it well enough to make connections that were not taught. I can also explain it)
MS = Meets Expectations (I know and can do everything that was taught with very little or no mistakes)
AS = Approaching Standards (I am starting to get it with help, but still get a little confused)
NS = Needs Support (I do not know it, or can not do it, yet)
