 I serve as the Social Worker on the middle school child study team . The Child Study Team is made up of a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, and a Learning Consultant. The role of the Child Study Team is to identify students who may be in need of special education services after all avenues of regular education interventions have been exhausted. The Child Study Team evaluates students to determine eligibility for special education instruction, support, and possible modifications needed. If a student is found eligible a program is developed and individual child study team members serve as case managers overseeing the student's program and working with students, teachers, and parents.

In addition I serve as a member of the 504 and I&RS committee and the Crisis Management Team.
