Healthy Living Week:  Feb. 1 – 5
Did you and your family make New Year's resolutions to get healthier?  The Health and Wellness committee has just the thing to keep you on track to a healthier lifestyle! Each day we challenge you to complete the activities with health and wellness in mind.  If your student participates for 3 or more days, fill out the form with their full name and teacher’s name, and turn it in for a chance to win one of 10 prizes!  Best of luck and have fun!

 

Sparkles Night:  Tuesday, February 9 from 5:30 to 8:00  
We only have one Sparkles skate night this year so don’t miss it!  $5 gets you skating, skate rental, Playzone, and one game of laser tag! Pizza and soda will be available for 99 cents!

Jump Rope for Heart:   Friday, February 12th
The event will be held in the Gym during our specials time. Bullard did such a great job last year that our school was ranked in the top 100 schools in the COUNTRY!  Thank you for your support with Jump Rope for Heart 2010, "Doing Our Part to Save a Heart!"


Science Fair: due February 18 (Grades K-2)

Don’t forget to work on your science fair projects!  Winners in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will advance to Tom Mathis level!  K-2nd projects due Feb. 18 and 3rd – 5th are due Feb. 19 by 8:00 a.m. in Media Center .

TEST TAKING STRATEGIES WORKSHOP: Thursday, Feb. 18th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM. 
The Bullard Elementary Counseling Team would like to invite parents to a CRCT workshop.  Presenters will be discussing test taking strategies and helpful ideas to prepare students for the CRCT tests.  Please join us in the Media Center for this informative session.

Wondering what to do with those old books, gently used baby cribs, mobiles, portable baby swings, blankets, or video game systems or games?  Community Outreach is currently collecting these items to be donated to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Must Ministries!  Drop items off in bins in Bullard lobby.  Contact Tara Bidwell for more information, tarabidwell@bellsouth.net
