I have enjoyed this year very much. We have had a wonderful year working on different projects. Some of the end of the year activities are:

                                           Planners
Planners are the students hall passes. If students come to class without them
they can not leave the room for any reason. If they loose their planner they will
have to buy another. Planner are used everyday to write down homework  
assignments. It is very important!!!!! Planners cannot be traded!!!!

Consequences
1st offense-Verbal Warning
2nd offense-Write discipline essay
3rd offense-Write discipline essay 2 times and parent is contacted
4th offense-Referral written for Saturday Detention

Severe Disruption-Immediate removal from classroom which will result in: Saturday Detention/Parent Meeting/ISS

Procedures
1. Enter the room quietly and sit in your assigned seat.
2. Take out all materials and place book sack in designated area. Do this quietly.
3. Take out your planner and begin copying down homework. Do this quietly.
4. Raise your hand to answer question. Do not blurt out answers.
5. You will only be allowed to leave the room if you have your planner as your hall pass. No trading planners.
6. Place all work in assigned basket. If it is not in the basket, then I will assume you didn't turn it in.

                                                                                                                                      

                                                                Tardies
If you are not in my room and in your seat when the tardy bell rings you are
considered tardy. If you are tardy, you must get the tardy binder and fill out your name, the
date, time you came into class, and the reason you were late. Remember, only 4 unexcused
tardies per semester. They do not start over until January.

                                      Attendance and Make-Up Policy
*Attend all classes:  By Louisiana Law, a student missing more than 20 days
in a year will not receive credit for course (Excused or Unexcused). A written
excuse must be provided within 3 days.

*Make-Up work:  It is the responsibility of the student to complete all missed work. 
Make-up work must be completed within three days of returning to school and will only 
be given to students with excused absents.
