My name is Brooke Norton and I am proud to be a second grade teacher here at Liberty Elementary! My husband, Jason and I moved to the Hinesville area to become part of the Marne family at Fort Stewart in 2005. We have two children who both attend LES, Andrew and Adalyn. I graduated in 2003 with a degree in Social Work, and then returned to college to receive my Elementary Education Certification in 2005. I also earned my Masters of Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University in May 2011. I have previously taught 3rd grade for 4 years here at LES and this is my third year in 2nd grade. I am also the Grade Level Chair this year, which I am very proud of!
I believe that children learn best when they understand what is expected of them on a daily basis. My students always know what's coming up and we have a class motto "No Excuses, No Surprises!"

Our rules are pretty simple:

  1. We will RESPECT EACH OTHER
  2. We will FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
  3. We will FOLLOW ALL PROCEDURES
  4. We will TRANSITION QUICKLY and QUIETLY
  5. We will WORK QUIETLY, HONESTLY and to the BEST of our ABILITY!

If you have any questions, or would like to set up a conference, please feel free to contact me at the school, or email me at [email protected]
