Parents:


Continue to practice our "Popcorn" words.  We will review last week's "popcorn" words and be teaching the children to associate the letter "r" with the letter sound "/r/" (like in the word "river")  Have your child tell you the sound the letter "r" makes and ask your child to list things that begin with the "r" sound.
We are also reading words that contain the letters that we have been studying.  Please help your child practice "sounding out" and reading these words at home.
Popcorn word rings are in backpacks.

Please go over Popcorn Words nightly and keep word ring in backpack so new words can be added!

Thursday - POLAR EXPRESS DAY
