Welcome to Mr. Morgan's 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies Class!

Welcome to my class.  I am looking forward to a great year at Kentwood High Magnet School and I know that you will do great things this year.  I challenge you to always do your best and always strive for excellence.  I teach 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies.  My emphasis this year will be excellence in all we do as we prepare for i-LEAP and LEAP. 

This year will be a year of exciting changes and challenges as we prepare to be global learners and contributing members of society.  Expect to learn about and respect other cultures as we also learn to be productive members of our own.  I am looking forward to working with you this year and hope that you are excited about entering into this WONDERFUL WORLD OF LEARNING. 

As a teacher, I have an open door policy for my parents and students.  If parents ever need to meet with me for any reason, please contact the school office and schedule an appointment.  I will be happy to meet with you regarding any concerns you may have.  Please check my website regularly for upcoming homework and project assignments, important school functions, and my classroom expectations and procedures.
