Welcome to Room 66!  It has been my joy and privilege to work at Ponchatoula High School, the flagship of the parish, for approximately 30 years as both guidance counselor and assistant principal.  Thank you so much for sharing your students with us!

Mr. Strickland, our principal, has assigned me the primary task of supervising our special education department.  Special needs students are my passion!  My secretary, Shirley Adams, and I schedule hundreds of IEPs yearly.  The special education department, which consists of 14 teachers and 13 paraprofessionals is a compassionate, caring family!  They truly love each other as well as each special needs student!  Success in the classroom is their trademark!

Other assigned reponsibilities include accountability, scheduling, grades, progress and report cards, lesson plans, and substitutes.  We create the various schedules used for assemblies, spirit concerts, and test days in my office.
