Welcome! 

 

   My name is Shawn Messina, and I am the librarian at the Lab School.  This is the start of my 29th year of teaching.  I've been lucky enough to spend almost 17 of those years here at the Lab School as the school librarian and middle school teacher.  I LOVE it here!  SLU Lab is a very special place.  The students and their families have become important parts of my family.

   My husband, Sammy, and I have been married for 26 years and have two children.  Our daughter, Sam, is a senior here at SLU and our son, Jake, is a senior at Loranger High, where Sammy coaches football and is the athletic director.  We have two cats, Zoe Baby and Maxi Cat and a dog, Wally.  We love spending time with family and watching our favorite team, the Wolves, play ball!
