  • Blend/segment onset and rimes-Ex. Say /b/ /at/, your child responds with the word bat.
  • Blend CVC phonemes-Ex.  Say /b/ /a/ /t/, your child responds with the word bat.
  • Identify all 52 letters (capital and lower case)-Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Qq, Rr,

  • Writes first and last name on lined paper, using the guidelines
  • Identify characters, setting, problem, and solution of a story-Ex.  Who are the characters?  Where did the story take place?  What was the problem in the story?  How did the characters solve the problem?

  • MATHEMATICS

    •  Time, Calendar, and Schedules-Ex.  Identify parts on the calendar.  Where is the month?  Where are the days?  How do you find the date? 
    • Reads the days of the week-Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
    • Reads the months of the year-January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December
    • Patterning: Multiple Attributes (ABC, ABB, AAB)
    • Counting, Reading, and Writing Numbers through 10

  • Please check your child's homework folder and planner each evening. 
  • Please remember to initial your child's homework calendar each night. 
  • Please review our weekly sight words and phonograms daily.
  • Please make sure your child is in complete uniform EVERY DAY!  This includes RED, WHITE, or NAVY BLUE polo shirts, kahki or navy bottoms a black or brown belt, solid shoes and socks!

  • Any money sent in with your child needs to be in a envelope with their name, teachers name and what it is for! Thanks!
