Half-way through the year
Everyone has been working very hard in the classroom and the lab.
During our second quarter studies we will be discussing:
7th Grade = Virsus, multicellular organisms, and Human Biology (systems, support and movement)
8th Grade = Motion (speed, acceleration and velocity), Forces (Gravity, Friction, Magnetism) work and energy, and simple machines.
There will usually be two homework assignments per week, occasionally more and sometimes less. Assignments will always be posted on this web site the day they are assigned. Assignments are due the next day we have class. Late work will be accepted but 10% of the grade will be deducted for each day (not class meeting) it is late.
There will be vocabulary quizzes given every chapter. Test will be given every 2-3 chapter (about every 3-4 weeks.) There will also be small chapter quizzes at the end of some chapters. These will all be posted on the calender, ahead of time, plus there will be review during class. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
