Periods 4/6/8 Extra Credit Opportunity - you can earn up to 10 extra credit points on your next math test by writing 5 word problems from the material on your last math test.  You must also work out the problems correctly and show your work.  You can type your word problems and email them to Mr. Phillips, type/print them up or hand write them. You can make them multiple guess - I mean multiple choice.  A - D or A - E for multiple choice would be bad. You can make the problems numeric (123...) or you can make multiple choice and numeric (123..) questions. Who knows, maybe one of your problems will show up on a future quiz or test :-)

Students in Block 1/2 will receive their 2nd math test for the quarter back on Friday, Dec 18th.  Students in Block 5 & 7 will receive their 2nd math test for the quarter back on Monday, Jan 5th.  Students may pick up a retake slip in class or print a retake slip from this web page.  Students can earn 1/2 credit (1.5 points)for each problem they fix on the retake.  In order to receive credit students must show their work when they retake the test.
NO RETAKES FOR 2ND QUARTER TESTS WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER JANUARY 19TH DUE TO THE END OF THE 2ND QUARTER

Students in Block 4/6/8 will receive their math test back on Friday, Dec 18th.   Students may pick up a retake slip in class or print a retake slip from this web page.  Students can earn 1/2 credit (1.5 points)for each problem they fix on the retake.

The District math exam will be given between Jan 19 - Jan 22nd.  THERE ARE NO RETAKES ON THE DISTRICT EXAM.

Not happy with your test grade?  Click on the tab that says test retake slip.  Open the attachment and follow the directions if you would like to retake your test.  Please keep in mind that test retakes will not be allowed after Jan 22nd due to the end of the 2nd  quarter.

Interim Report and Report Card Schedule
2009-2010

District Math Exam
Students took their quarter one math exam made by the school district.  The grade will count as a quiz this quarter.  If you would like to know what questions your child missed please email me and I will send you a PDF attachment showing you what questions they missed. I do not want to print these out for students because the shortest report is 2 pages long and I have 131 students.  This would be 262 pieces of paper and ink.  Thanks for understanding! :-)
