Supplies needed
Pencils, (4)70 page spiral notebooks (1 for each quarter), and a basic 4-function calculator for home use.

 Homework Policy

Homework will be assigned most nights. It is the student’s responsibility to make up any missed work due to absences.

I grade homework solely on EFFORT. “EFFORT” is something that I can see on  paper. Assignments should be complete; if no work is shown, the  grade will result in a zero.

Classroom Expectations

Be prepared

Be respectful of classmates

I expect all work to be done in pencil. (A few extra pencils in their backpacks would be great)

Any assignments done in ink will receive a “0%”

My Promise to You
When your student is in my classroom, I will check to make sure that he/she has written down homework in their planner. If/when you student does not do homework; I will sign their planner that day with "No Homework". If you would like me to send you an email, I will do that also.
With block scheduling I only see your child every other day and that means I need to cover more than one objective every day they are in class. Keeping this in mind, if they do not do their homework for Monday's class and possibly don't do it for Wednesday's class they may have missed practice for an entire chapter. My point being, they could fall behind very, very fast.
What your son/daughter needs from you.....
Check their planner EVERY day. Make sure they have completed the work. I do not collect homework, I only check to see that is is done, so they should always have it in their spiral notebook.
I make this promise to you, but once they leave my room, they need your help.
Let's work together to make sure your child is not left behind.
