Grade 8 will begin their 3rd Quarter studies by covering Chapter 10, which deals with the early expansion of the United States.  The Vocabulary Test for Chapter 10 will be on either February 2 or 3, depending on which Block I have them in.

Grade 6 will continue their exploration of the ancient world by covering Chapter 8, which deals with ancient Rome. The Vocabulary Test for Chapter 8 will be on February 3.
