Career Orientation is a class designed to get 8th graders to start thinking about their future occupations. The students will be taking classes in 9th grade that will directly impact their working future, so they need to think about that future early.
   In this class, students will do self assessments about their interests and abilities. They will also prepare a resume and a job application. Other things discussed in the class include making career choices, making decisions, and how to find a job.
