Hi!  My name is Martha Emerson.  I have been teaching for 26 years in either first, second, or third grades. I have a BA in Elementary Education and a MS in Reading. 

My family and I live here in Gainesville and love it!  Our daughter, Amy, is in the eighth grade. Lucy, our dog, rounds out our family.

I enjoy reading, walking, computers, and learning new things.  Learning is always an adventure in Mrs. Emerson's class! 

I look forward to meeting you at "Meet the Teacher" on Friday, August 21 at 1:30 and seeing you bright and early on August 24th, the first day of school!
