WELCOME BACK!!!!!
Parents:
In an attempt to be better at communication and avoid much frustration, I am asking that you please note that my email address is not my full name, it is jcarpent@psdnet.org. I check my email daily and more often then not. This year, my goal is to get back to everyone the same day (so I do not forget about the email). If you do not hear from me within the 24 hours that you have sent an email, please try emailing me at pmhseagleband@gmail.com. Our email is sometimes blocked from your particular internet company. Please do not hesitate to email or call me if there are ever any problems or just to chat about your child's progress. I am easy to get in contact with and try to email back as soon as possible. I feel that if we work together, we can create a better learning environment for the students, which should be our ultimate goal.

Music is important in the enrichment of scholastic development. Those who participate in music score higher on standardized testing, than those who do not participate in music. Studies have shown that students in the music department excel in math and sciences. According to the College Entrance Examination Board, in 2006 students involved with music programs score 57 points higher on the verbal portion of the SATs and 43 points higher on the math.
