Class Expectations
1. All school rules will be followed.
2. Bring your materials to class every day.
3. Be in your seat and working when the bell rings.
4. Show respect for the property of others.
5. Be prepared to do your best in class each day.
6. Help your classmates and yourself by respecting the rights of all students to learn.
Makeup work and tutoring
If a student needs to make up missed work or needs extra help, he/she should sign up in the classroom to reserve a time. I am available most days before and after school. It is the responsibility of the student to keep track of and complete missing assignments, including homework, within five school days of returning to school.
Grading
Grading is based on a point system. All assignments are totaled at the end of each 9 weeks to determine total points for each category and divided by the total possible points. Per the Greenwood High School Foreign Language Department, grades are calcuated as follows:
Tests & Quizzes 30%
Presentational/Interpersonal Assignments 40%
Presentations may be oral or written
Interpersonal interviews are graded conversations in
which students interact with each other in Spanish
Homework 20%
Participation 10%
