Welcome to 5th grade at Diplomat Elementary

 

    Where Learning is "Out of this World!"   

 

 

 We are getting ready to begin a year filled with excitement, learning, and achievement. In 5th grade, students will engage their creative minds, extend their thinking, persevere when tasks get tough, and always give their best effort. In the process, we will also be showcasing our daily successes and setting long term goals. With a good attitude, our classroom will work cooperatively to enhance learning and communicate effectively with others.

 

   To be sure we are able to complete our learning in a timely manner, I will provide a classroom that builds teamwork, emphasizes respect, and motivates students to reach their fullest potential. Students will participate in real-life learning activities, the application of subject are skills, technology supported instruction, and simulations. Students will also learn to set individual and class goals.

 

   Your child will obtain the best education when we work as a team. A parent's enthusiasm, support, and participation inspire children to do their best. A strong parent-teacher relationship is key part of a successful year. Together we can achieve magnificent things. I encourage you to use the Class Dojo app (Click link under Upcoming  Events) as the means of our communication. You may, however, always write a note in your student's planner or call 458-0085.
