Often parents ask what they can do to help their child be more successful.      Here are a few tips:
    
** Make sure your child goes to school every day.

** My classroom is open at 8:50 and though a student is not considered tardy until after  9:15, coming in at 8:50 will allow your child plenty of time to get unpacked and it also allows time for additional remedial instruction. 

** Check your child's planner daily to see what their homework is and please check to see how their day was. 

** Check homework daily.  Discuss any problem areas and correct mistakes. 

** Read nightly with your child. 

** Review with your child all graded papers that are sent home in your child's yellow folder. 

** Practice addition and subtraction facts for speed and accuracy.

** Always be positive and encourage your child to do their very best.
