Procedures

JUNIOR HIGH PROCEDURES

 

Classroom Tools

 

Students will come prepared for class each day with:

  • · Assignment notebook
  • · Proper text book/s for each class
  • · Loose-leaf paper
  • · Notebook
  • · Folders
  • · Blue, black, red pens/ pencils in a pencil case

 

 

Assignments/Homework

Papers will follow the proper format or they will not be accepted:

  • · Write in cursive
  • · Write inside the margins
  • · No ragged edges on the paper
  • · No torn or dirty papers
  • · Use only black or blue pen, red for correcting, pencil in math only
  • · No extra marks i.e. – drawing, cartoons, scribbles, doodles
  • · Heading on the top two lines:

Homework and Work Due to Absence

  • · Homework is due the day it is assigned. All homework turned in on the due date will receive five points. Any homework turned in after the due date will receive zero points
  • · You will have 1 extra day to make up an assignment for each day that is missed due

to an illness etc…

  • · It is the responsibility of the absent student to collect missing homework and make up missing tests

 

 

Dismissing Class

  • · Push in chairs
  • · Pick up all garbage from floor
  • · Wait for the teacher to dismiss the class, not the bell

 

 

Homeroom

  • · Students will be in homeroom by 8:15AM or you will be marked tardy
  • · Students will report to Homeroom before going to lockers right after 5th period and 9th period, we will all be praying before lunch and at the end of the day

 

 

Lockers

  • · No extra locker visits
  • · Lockers may only be visited in the morning after 3rd period, gym time, before and after lunch, and at the end of the day and you will wait to be dismissed

 

 

Behavior in the Hallway

  • · Hands and objects to yourself
  • · No visiting
  • · No perfume, hairspray, cologne, deodorant, or body spray

 

 

Miscellaneous

  • · No eating, drinking, or chewing gum without the permission of the teacher
  • · Strict enforcement of the uniform code will be followed
  • · All hard backed text books must be covered and kept in good condition ( students that draw in or on any textbooks will be charged a replacement fee)
  • · Students will not be allowed to leave books and supplies in the desks
