Lab Rules 

• Conduct yourself in a responsible manner at all times.  Unsafe or inappropriate behavior during a lab will result in loss of lab privileges for the day and a score of 0 for the lab!
• Appropriate attire for labs will be worn at all times.  This includes safety goggles, rubber gloves and/or aprons when necessary.  Also be careful of long hair and dangling jewelry.
• Do not touch any equipment or materials until instructed to do so!
• Follow directions!  If you do not understand, ask before continuing.
• Do not conduct any unauthorized experiments.
• No food or beverages allowed.
• Never taste, touch or smell anything unless specifically told to do so.
• Use care when handling any chemicals, sharp objects, glassware or hot or cold materials.
• Be alert to what is going on at all times.
• Keep your work area neat and clean up after you have finished your lab.
