Kindergarten Teacher
Welcome to Kindergarten at the Laboratory School
I am looking forward to our kindergarten year together! It is such a joy to teach kindergarten. I look forward to beginning this wonderful journey.
Here is some information about myself:
This will be my 16th year teaching. I earned my BA and teaching certificate at Pacific Lutheran University and my Master's from City University. I am married and have two children. My 8 year old will be in third grade this year and he loves anything to do with frogs and he loves Boy Scouts, my 15 year old is a sophomore at Ponchatoula High School and she loves softball and sports. I love dogs and have four. I enjoy reading, skiing and warm sunny beaches. I have a passion for Starbucks latte’s.
Kindergarten is such an exciting time – there is such huge physical, mental and emotional growth. We learn to work together as a “classroom family.” The kindergarten grade year will go by quickly as we work to make academic accomplishments!
I want to be a partner with you in your child’s education. I will have your child for a short time in this trip through life, and I want to make a contribution that lasts a lifetime.
Moms, Dads, and Grandparents are welcome to come and volunteer in the classroom. We need lots of helpers to be successful, learn and have fun.
