Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to our second nine weeks of school! I hope everyone had a good Halloween and a great time at Foster Frolics.
Grade 3 & 5-Keep your eyes on the calander page where I will be posting test and quiz dates for math. It is VERY important that you all are practicing multiplication and division facts!!
Science students received a letter this week informing families of the topics we will be studying this marking period. You can also click here and get an electronic copy of the letter.
Reading students have been doing a great job respoding to the novels we have been reading. You can read their discussions on our class WIKI at www.waltersmg.pbworks.com . If you would like a username and password to participate in our discussions please email me.
As the holidays approach there is often the question about what to get children that are both fun and educational presents. The links below are great sites to consider when purchasing this holiday season. Additionally, if you ever want to order books from Scholastic, I keep an online catalog active and process orders on the 15th of every month (except in December). If you click the tab "Scholastic Online Orders" to the right you can find all the important information. Feel free to contact me for paper catalogs or additional ordering instructions.
