POLICY:              1.  Best effort on all work

                        2.  All test and quizzes signed

           

                                    A. RULES:  1.  Raise hand to leave seat.

                                                       2.  Use good manners

                                                       3.  Be kind to everyone.

 

PROJECT:            Novel—Fall/Winter

                        Novel—Winter/Spring

 

FORMAT:            Name, date, label, best effort

 

ASSESSSMENT:  1.  Each completed classwork/homework assignment-- 20 points

                             2. Five assignments—one grade

                             3.  Test: Two days notice

                             4.  Quiz: Unannounced

 

CONFERENCE TIMES:  Tuesdays  2:30-3:15

 

 

 

WRITING

 

TEXT:  Writer’s Choice

 

OVERVIEW:  Grammar, usage, mechanics, sentence structure, five paragraphs through three paragraph essays.

                        2.  All tests and quizzes signed

                                                       2.  Be nice to everyone

PROJECT:  NJASK folder—Spring           

FORMAT:  Name, date, label, best effort

ASSESSMENT:  1.  Each completed classwork/homework assignment worth 20 points. Five assignments worth one grade.
