Welcome to all students for the 2010-2011 school year.  Kindergarten is a big milestone for all children.  Students will learn many  things from the alphabet and letters and sounds to handwriting and responsibility.   I am ready and excited to get this school year started.  I am looking forward to meeting all of my students as well as their parents.  Parent meeting is Monday, August 16th.  You will sign up your student for a test which we will give on Monday afternoon, Tuesday or Wednesday.  The test is about 45 minutes and anyone can bring your Kindergartner to take this test.  It is state mandated and is not a pass or fail test.  Other items will be discussed Monday including snack calendars, transportation, attendance, discipline, etc.  There will also be forms that need to be filled out.  Looking forward to seeing all of you!
