Welcome to Kindergarten! We are in store for a great year of fun and learning. In the first few weeks of school
we will learn how to spell and read our color words, write our first name correctly, read many books about
Kindergarten, practice recognizing and writing our numbers, and how to draw and name our four basic shapes.
In addition to learning our classroom rules, we will also discuss bus, playground, bathroom, and cafeteria rules.
The students will learn our class schedule and also attend P.E., Music, and Library.
Please make sure to practice these things at home:
1. tying shoes
2. writing first name
3. naming the letters of the alphabet
