We have earned ____ LeBlanc BIG bucks.
This means that other teachers have noticed how GREAT we are.
I will be tutoring on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (3:30-4:30) and on Thursdays (3:30-4:00) I will be tutoring 2nd and 3rd graders. I will work on improving phonics, reading fluency, and comprehension. I will not be doing homework. If you are interested please call the office or email me at shanal@vrml.k12.la.us.
Parents, please check your child's homework folder each night. In here, you will see a homework chart that will have your child's homework written. (Please review our homework policy on the Welcome letter and on the link to the right.) Reading is a very important part of education.
Each night your child will be expected to read to an adult for twenty minutes.

This website will help your child with reading vocabulary and skills.
In each clear protector sleeve of the folder he/she will have study guides and homework for that night. In the back of this homework folder will be information for you and your child to review and you may keep it at home. The front pocket will be information that needs to be completed and brought back to school.
On Mondays vocabulary study guides, new reading materials, and new spelling words will be sent home.
Please remember to review math facts with your child. They will be expected to take a 3 minute timed test of 100 facts around October on addition facts and subtraction around April.
