Welcome to FOURTH GRADE! My name is Jung Neiman and this will be my 17th year in education! I graduated from Bradwell Institute and earned my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. I completed both my Masters degree (Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy Specialization) and Educational Specialists degree (Educational Technology) through Lesley University. I have been teaching at Button Gwinnett Elementary for 15 years.
This year, your child will have me for Reading and Social Studies, Ms. McCray for Language Arts, Mrs. Folker for Math, and Mrs. King for Science.
I would like for you to be aware that I have very high expectations for the students. I expect them to always try their best. I expect all the rules and routines to be followed. I expect each child to respect the other students in the classroom as well as in the school and any adult they come into contact with.
Research shows that parental involvement is key in student achievement. As your child’s teacher, I also have high expectations for you as well. I expect all parents to be involved with their child’s academics and I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have!
