Greek God Powerpoint Assignment

1. Create a Powerpoint describing the 12 Olympian gods of Ancient Greece
2. You’ll probably want to use 14 slides…1 for a title page, 1 for a menu (see direction #3) and 1 slide for each of the Olympian gods.
3. Once the PowerPoint is finished, design a main page (think of an interesting DVD menu)
4. Create hyperlinks that will direct the viewer directly to the topic of choice
   1. Insert a text box, image, etc
   2. Select the image, textbox, etc and go to insert>hyperlink>Place in this document>(choose your  slide you want it to go to) then click OK
5. Don’t forget to insert objects as links leading viewers back to the main page as well.
6. Practice navigating through the presentation to make sure all the links function as you intended.

To change the order in which things appear/occur on your slides:

1. go to the slide you want to change
2. in the top menu click slide show > custom animation
3. select the items that you want to change, then select the effect you want them to appear in / display
4. to select multiple items to appear one after the other, select them all, choose the way you want them to appear on the screen, then select how the object will start and from which direction it will come in, etc (for example-  (Start – on click, Direction – Horizontal, Speed –Medium)

      The order in which they will happen in your presentation is displayed in the custom animation menu to the right.

5.   any items on your page that do not appear in this list will show up immediately when the slide appears

6.   always preview your slide before you are finished
