Connected Math Information

Welcome, to my eighty minute Connected Math program. This math program provides real-world math situations to help students make better connections between what goes on in math class and the outside world. Through this series, students perform investigations daily in math class. Attendance is very important for the success of this series. Students will often work in cooperative groups with this series to provide better academic support to ensure the success of all students.  The units that we will be covering this year are: Accentuate the Negative, Kaleidoscopes, Hubcaps, and Mirrors, Covering and Surrounding,  Stretching and Shrinking, Comparing and Scaling, Variables and Patterns, Filling and Wrapping, and What Do You Expect?

To be prepared for class each day your child must bring their math book, notebook, pencil and any homework that was assigned.
