The following describe what is expected of you in English.
• Students shall seek to become excellent communicators.
• Come in ready to begin. And, always be ready to write.
• Try!!!!Give your best guess or attempt.
• Complete your work. Hand it in on time.
• Organization. Keep your material neat, and write legibly.
• Attentiveness. Students who pay attention never get bored.
Objectives
The following describe the areas of study we will focus on in English.
• Develop skills in listening, multisensory experiences, speaking, and writing
• Writing effectiveness: vocabulary, paragraph development, sentence structure
• Writing process: phases of prewriting, drafting, revising and editing, and publishing
• Grammar: stressing correct usage in the written and spoken word
