REMINDER:
Please practice with your child the school's PBIS PROCEDURE-  the 3 B's Expectation (BE SAFE, BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE) from our schoolwide PBIS and school/class rules for reinforcement.  Please do not forget to initial your name on their daily conduct sheet each night and sign/return important papers back to school as soon as possible in their homework folders.  Students that bring important papers or assigned individual or grouped assignments/homework will receive rewards daily and they will not be penalize for any reason (but they will lose out on reinforcement of skills being taught).  Homework are meant for reinforcement of skills being taught and for enrichment only.  This will provide you with time spent with your child and a chance to get to know what they are learning in class on a daily basis.  Not every child within the classroom will receive the same type of homework because each child will learn at a different pace/different level/different style of learning.  Please help them with their homework in order to movitate them to want to learn and be able to provide them a sense of pride.  We have to understand that every child is unique and special and often times will move at various paces throughout the year.  This is another way to make sure that no child will be left behind at any cost.  Education is priceless and their future lies within our hands.  They are our future community helpers and our future leaders in which our country will depend on one day.  For them to learn how to be responsible, we need to show them how to be responsible on a daily basis.   With your support and dedication, our class will only succeed.
