Welcome to our website! I wanted to let our parents know that your children are in good hands. Our job is to keep your child safe...their job is to help keep things safe! I was a Kindergarten Aide from 1995-2002 while I pursude my teaching career at UL. I am certified in grades Pre-K-3. My student teaching took place at Hopkins Elementary School in New Iberia in grades 1 and 4. I came back to ELC as a Pre-K teacher for 10 years and my last year in Pre-K I team taught with Mrs. Nikki as a regular ed teacher in a full inclusion class. During my time in Pre-K I was one of the Lead Pre-K Master Teachers. I have been teaching first grade with Mrs. Keely as our Resource Teacher for our SPED population. Our classroom is a full inclusion first grade class. I currently serve on the PBIS Program at our school as well as other committees. Teaching is my passion and I hope to end my career always in the classroom. I am most happy when I am with my kids.
