MIDDLE SCHOOL FIELD TRIP SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 23-30
Tuesday, April 23, 2013 - Bowling - Students have free dress (socks and tennis shoes are required) and they need to either bring money for lunch at the bowling alley or they may bring their own lunch.
Wednesday, April 24, 2013 - Zoo was rescheduled due to stormy weather. We will go next Tuesday instead . Today, we are just staying at school and ordering pizza for them because that was the plan for next Tuesday (we are just swapping these two days on the schedule)
Thursday, April 25, 2013 - Hammond Movie Theater to watch the movie, "42" - Students have free dress and can bring money for concessions. We will have lunch when they return to school but the school cafeteria will already be closed. Please send them with a lunch on this day to eat after we return to school.
Friday, April 26, 2013 - Students remain at school on this day. We will walk to the SLU cafeteria for lunch. Students will have free dress. Please bring $7.58 for lunch buffet at the SLU cafeteria.
Monday, April 29, 2013 - Fountainbleau State Park - Students will have free dress. Please bring a towel, sunscreen and a dry change of clothes. Lunch is provided on this day (2 hot dogs, chips and drink) but you may bring extra snacks and drinks if you would like.
Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - Baton Rouge Zoo- Students must wear their school uniform shirt so we can identify them at the zoo, but they can wear jeans or shorts with it. They need to bring their lunch with them to the zoo on this day. They may also want to bring sunscreen, sunglasses or hat for protection from the sun.

ALL ABOUT ME
My name is Jennifer Simon. This is my 13th year of teaching. I have both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. I am married to David Simon, who is a Math instructor at SLU. I have three beautiful children, Katie (11 years old), Ethan (8 years old) and Carly Ruth (2 years old). Before coming to the Lab School, I taught Biology at Lumberton High School in Mississippi and Hammond High School. This is my fifth year to teach at the Lab School. I love working with such awesome teachers, parents and hard working students!!!
